Mutiny Arts is supported by a rolling team of volunteers who work with the following 3 directors:

George Butler - BA Mixed Media Arts,
MA Globalisation Development and Transition.

Director of Mutiny Arts, which he setup in May 1999 after working with numerous community video organisations, running ‘hands-on learning’ video projects based on social issues. Developed South London Mummers Plays performed in public spaces. Professional DV Camera operator and Final Cut Pro editor. Own practice includes ‘Theraman’ music performance and documentary video work.

Tom Keene - BA hons Photography, Film and Television.

Director of Mutiny Arts, with over 10 years experience as an interactive designer/programmer for the web and cd-rom. Experienced in the delivery of community based mixed media projects with youth and adult groups, both as an arts practitioner and facilitator / mentor. Recent projects have included the development of large-scale drugs and alcohol information websites for Norfolk and Brent councils, with www.simplyworks.co.uk. An organisation supporting individuals with long-term social exclusion problems as an integral part of the development team. www.theanthillsocial.co.uk

Kath Bower, a graduate of Social Policy and Administration and is a qualified careers guidance practitioner.

Since graduating she has worked in a wide variety of settings including local government, youth arts organisations and for an environmental charity. Roles have included advice work, grants coordination, professional development training coordination and project management. She has been a director of Mutiny Arts for 5 years and the Creekside Education Trust. She has been fundraising for over 5 years and is currently studying for a professional qualification in Fundraising Management.
